FEES

Our fees are highly competitive as compared to the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers Fee Guideline For Consulting Engineers. For example, our fees for an experienced P.Eng. range between $220/hr to $280/hr as compared to the Fee Guideline rate of $240/hr to $300/hr for a Level E to F engineer (See report with 2015 data).

Most jobs are quoted on a fixed cost or budgetary not-to-exceed basis. The fee for a typical Pre-Start Health & Safety Review (exclusive of tax) is:
  • 1 hr administrative
  • 2 hrs on site
  • 8-12 hrs to research and prepare a report of findings
  • 2 hrs for followup support (to present findings to larger groups, discuss alternatives and commercially-available solutions, meet contractors, etc.)
  • Travel time and mileage combined fee of $1.80/km

FEES FOR MACHINE GUARDING DESIGN SERVICE

CCP Engineering designs, fabricates and installs / integrates guarding systems. We are especially adept at machine guarding design because of the 3D technologies we use.
